Cape Cod maps of the streets in each town. Instead of viewing only a "section" of a town's map, you now can view, download and copy the entire map of the town for printing or off-line use. These maps provide valuable Cape Cod directions to whatever location you are searching for from Bourne to Barnstable to Provincetown.
Besides helping you get around the most popular spots on Cape Cod, such as Hyannis and Provincetown, we offer Cape Cod maps of all 15 towns and villages on The Cape from the bridge town of Bourne to the "elbow" at Chatham all the way to the tip at Provincetown.

With the completion of the Cape Cod Canal in the 1940's, Cape Cod became completely surrounded by water with the Atlantic Ocean to the East, Nantucket Sound to the South, Cape Cod Bay and the Canal to the North and West, and Buzzards Bay to the West. This website doesn't supply Cape Cod directions for travel by boat, however nautical charts and other Cape Cod maps are available at may outlets.
Route 6 generally runs through the middle of the land mass from the Sagamore Bridge all the way to Provincetown. From Bourne to Dennis, it is a four lane, divided highway. Then, from Dennis to Orleans, it is only a two lane road with a 13 mile no passing zone. After the Orleans rotary ("roundabout" or "circle") and through the town of Eastham, Route 6 is once again a 4 lane road but it is not divided. Route 6 in Wellfleet and Southern Truro reverts back to a two lane road which returns to four lanes in North Truro and Provincetown. The speed limit fluctuates according to the section of Route 6 you are on at any given time. Please obey all speed limit signs as they are strictly enforced on our little peninsula.
On Cape Cod, Route 6A runs from Bourne to Orleans across the northern part of the land mass. Route 6A stops at this point but starts up again in Truro and runs into Provincetown. Route 28 runs South from Bourne to the town of Falmouth where it turns East and runs to Chatham where it once again turns, this time North, and ends in Orleans.
1. Regardless of your compass heading, when you are traveling on Rt. 28 towards the Orleans terminus, you are traveling "South on Rt. 28."
2. Hyannis is one town in the village of Barnstable. Hyannis directions can be found on the Barnstable maps.
If you find yourself traveling on the Cape and you are confused and in need of Cape Cod directions, be sure to stop and ask the friendly, local "Cape Codders" who are usually more than willing to help you out. These maps are a good start, however.
